In defence of DD sector: I'm already up very nicely on the sector and expect more. True it's been a real dog sector but due for another run-up as demand heats up and shortages develop. They're also key companies in data storage which is a hot area. MXTR which announced raising prices on hard drives is widely rumored (in print by major periodicals) to be bought into by a major PC maker (40% which Hundai owns) and KMAG is still sitting near lows despite even fellow dog WDC's nice recent 60% pop (where I sold it). Don't underestimate this sector. SEG and HDD are also nice bets. KMAG earnings (or lack of) coming out this week so we'll see if it pops. Anything but awful news should lift it off bottom.

In the meantime, HSAC looks ready to run this week. And I'm watching ATHM to buy on any further dip.

DlphcOracl - What's your outlook for JDSU post earnings? Can it maintain its momentum?
