"I think I recall your making that post "
Frank: Right now I am holding a long position and daytrading msft with a second buyin and I will hold my long, watching closely next Tues, after hours, if earnings are OK I'll keep holding, if msft starts downticking I'll sell that position afterhours. As for July, I always buy in, if I'm not already in, about 6 weeks, or so, prior to the July earnings for the earnings run & summer rally. As for picking bottoms, that is not a exact art, but in general if you can catch msft down 25% - 30% off the yearly high, take a long position trade. As for between now & then, well, that depends on news, for instance the DOJ thing.
Cheers

To predict where MSFT will be in July.....a crap shoot...I'll take a wild one at $160 getting ready for another split....By then window 2000 will be selling like hot cakes....settlement will be made....no change with government breakup.....things will be back to normal and the Dow will be humming....Oh it's the good life. Never go against the flow.
