Hi, Waldemar. Cut and paste is the lowest common denominator transfer method. Highlight the information you want transferred by holding down the left mouse button while you drag the cursor then let the mouse go, do a Control-C (hold both keys at the same time), go to the thread you want to transfer to, open the respond box, and do a Control-V. The transferred info will be pasted in. For e.g, I will paste just a fragment of your message below. This makes life really easy.

This can be done either with the URL of the message, like this: beta.siliconinvestor.com

or just copying some of the message itself like this

cut and pasted segment

avid, the actual site was a news blip from CNBC on my Internet Explorer Home page.......what I typed was the highlight more or less without going to
the entire news st

It would be nice if the SI folks had a "link" feature that made an external reference a real part of the board. Who do we talk to about that?

ON TOPIC

While I am not an Internet security expert, I think there are some extremely interesting things that can be done to improve credit card security. Novell has several technologies that can be applied, some uniquely, but have not yet been directly applied to this problem.

Some of the timing issues are that much of this work forges significantly new ground, and there are many, many opportunities. So if Novell is going to pioneer yet again (as in directory services)it should be in an extremely high payoff and competitively sustainable arena.
