You didn't answer my question. What do you see as a reasonable time frame for commercialization of SPD products and real revenues...considering that REFR now claims to have the entire "supply chain" in place?

How many more years should an investor wait for revenues (much less earnings)...1, 5, 10, 50?

By the way, why on Earth was REFR licensing manufacturers to create commercial producs back in the late 80s and early 90s if they didn't have this "supply chain" in place?

Finally, what is your excuse going to be when REFR doesn't deliver anything yet again in 2000?

<< Xerox technology took 35 years to develop and shareholders made a fortune on that. >>

Nothing like sacrificing accuracy for the purpose of self-service, eh? Unfortunately for your little comparison, the truth is, the first xerographic image was created in labs in 1938, and the company that would eventually become Xerox actually acquired the xerographic technology in 1947. Going 35 years forward from that takes us to either 1973 or 1982; either way, Xerox had developed and marketed many products and gone on to make its legendary stock market run in considerably less than the 35 years you claim.

<< I bought 600 shares in 1992 and was NOT EVER under any misconception that products were "around the corner." >>

In that case I can only imagine the line of thinking that must have gone into that investment. "Let's see, these guys have been working on developing a single product for over 25 years, and while I like the technology, I see no products coming in the foreseeable future. Yeah, this looks like a good place to plunk down about $5000."
