***Ok, a bit more on food*** Gee Ed, if you are going to ask questions, I don't feel I can do a 'Tero', having made all this noise. [He refuses to answer questions - discussing him is okay here despite rule three about small minds discussing people].

No, I don't have an apostrophe fetish. Jon sometime ago was discussing apostrophe's and it just sort of stuck. They are fun little things which seem to have an independent life of their own.

'Apostrophe' seems a bit of a clunky word - the word is not what attract's me. Its the slippery way they just slide all over the place. Sort of like hagfish.

I think its good to have thread police. Self-appointed ones such as you, or SI Bob type official ones unicus.com are both fine. You chose to appoint yourself as commentator and policeman on my comments. See, it's sort of seductive isn't it? Before you know it, you're wearing a policeman's helmet.

Anyway, I'm happy too to exercise moral judgement on other's writing. If they want to express something, I see no reason why I shouldn't comment on it. Just as you have done, [in the form of a question], the latest self-appointed policeman to show up. Good on you! Or did you mean something else?

Incidentally, do you just walk on by if you see a child run over on the road, or somebody threatening somebody else [well, it IS their problem as you say, isn't it!]?

Morals, morals, morals. Where do they start and stop?

Thanks for the good questions'. [Does the apostrophe go after or before the full-stop = period in American?]

Are we finished with all this yet? Maybe when the markets open it'll stop.

Mqurice

Ed, sheep and gurus need to be policed. Once normal, thinking people gain control again they can police themselves.

Hey anyone want to comment on the issued of British police not wearing guns like American police? Or do they now? I don't know...maybe females make better police.
