Luc,

i am in general agreement with your intense bearishness, but wonder at the sagacity of shortselling the oils. indeed a number of the issues have already been heavily sold short and the proceeds invested in the inuts. the osx looks like its breaking out. might it just might be the case that a short squeeze in the commodities and energy issues may coincide with a tumble in the idiot issues. i for one would be tremendously pleased with such an outcome as i am leveraged on both sides of that trade.

i'm also curious for your take on the domestic gold stocks. were all those block trades this week a major house dumping positions? it sure looked that way. i have some jan NEM calls that are rapidly losing value. also what about silver and HL? how soon is now in your opinion?
