Wayne - Yeah, that was the one. Greenwood Lake showed little. Hal went w-w and paid $82.40. Won by 5 1/4 while pulling away in the stretch. I don't know what kind of figure the Beyer boys will give him (and don't really care) but I give him a big mark. I've decided to track the threes from the onset this year. Having Equibase charts available from the comfort of home helps a lot. I recall you mentioning your focus on stakes last year and I might follow your lead here because of time limitations (involved in a writing project). Saturday might have marked the beginning of the new season: GG held their Derby on the other coast. Thank goodness value and some semblance of sanity still exists on the ovals, if not on the Street.
