Geez. Guess I have no excuse for that, not morning, not late night. Just short term memory loss!

I do stand corrected. Pin me between buffalo and Cleveland.

However, and as a rare exception, living near a Great Lake has some interesting happenings. The closer to the lake, the earlier the last frost as inland will get frosts(especially in low lying areas) later than us, ask Jane!

Where I am located I can safely grow peaches apricots and other early blossomers while 20 miles south they usually only hit is 70% of the time.

But that's niether her nor there as it's all white outside right now and only 12°.

On a brighter note, I did bring in a hyacinth from last easter(still in the pot) and forced it into full bloom here in my studio. But alas, after a week or so of its frangents it is dying off. I need a greenhouse. I have way too many temperate plants here, studio is almost like a jungle, but it does serve a perpose.

I have jade, ficus, banana, geraniums, rubber trees, minature orange and lemmons. If I spend too much time in here, they start to wrap aroud mydsa

p.s. on a rather odd note, I have an outside shower here to wash off after outdoors work, about a week or so ago, I gave serious thought to hooking up the sprinkler to the hot water line just to see a green back yard.

No, not cabin fever yet. Check on me in another few weeks!
