a sign of things to come in the desktop space.

Isn't it interesting that during the one quarter where Intel was unable to wage their scorched earth policy against AMD, both companies did extremely well. If Intel would just accept AMD's existence and end their mindless paranoid price cutting, we would all be much better off.

Intel has a strong mobile platform with CuMine so it will attack aggressively.

AMD is doing (and will do) a similar thing on the desktop side where it has advantage.

That's how things are done in most businesses.
