James I did not think that the internet required maintenance on the Lord's Day in order to run.. However Dan set himself against me and the Ten Commandments and stated that he believed it did. Paul stated that if any man thought it a sin to eat meat sacrifice to an Idol THEN it was sin for us to do it in his site. This is far beyond something that "might" be a sin. Breaking the Ten Commandments is definitely SIN... Unfortunately Dan, instead of repenting, has called God to judge between us - accusing me of be a "legalist" I therefore must witness that he is being licentious and will not be blessed in his stand. God told Moses to stone the Sabbath breaker to death even the same penalty as adultery. Sabbath Breaking is very grave sin. Many Christians today think Jesus was against the Sabbath because of the unlawful way that the Pharisee attempted to enforce it against doing good and healing on that day. God never commanded men to not do good on that day but indeed not to work nor to cause others ( restaurant workers, movie theatres etc. ) to have to work on that day either. Exodus 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. God has greatly Blessed my insight into His word ever since I repented of breaking the 4th commandment some 15 years ago. God has promised a double blessing of revelation to those who keep His Lord's Day even as to those who tithe. These things are not legalism.. I am saved by Grace unto OBEDIENCE !!! It is rebellion to desire to seek after your own pleasures on the Lord's Day and to cause others to work.. I would rather err on the side of discretion! I know that it is no sin for me to not post on the Lord's Day but can not in good conscience gaurantee that it is OK to post... Therefore for Dan's sake and the witness of the obligation to obey God' Ten Commandments even as Jesus and Paul taught I will not post. Dan said He could break the Sabbath because I was breaking the sabbath by posting... Even if I was breaking the sabbath that still give no one an excuse, If I murder someone is then alright?? Dan has display terrible rebellion in this matter and God has set Him as an example of just how backslidden men are in this modern day. I can find no historic confession even that even suggested that the Ten Commandments should ever be broken. Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. Jesus did not legalize sin He came to save His people from it !There are not now only 9 commandments...still 10 :-} 1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. The Lord's Day is a Blessing not Bondage.... Please repent Dan.. for your own sake and others. Sabbath Breaking and Sin are not freedom !
