<<<I know that it is no sin for me to not post on the Lord's Day but can not in good conscience gaurantee that it is OK to post...>>>

It all depends on what your posting. Preachers spend themselves out mentally and physically on the Lords' day so are they guiltly of breaking the sabbath? Have you ever come away from a long service refreshed in your spirit and yet feel so tired physically? Is battling in a spiritual warfare only done six days a week? Does the enemy honor Christians who observe the sabbath and not war against them that day? Is the internet fertile ground for promoting the gospel?

Nevertheless, having thrown out these questions, if you feel you should not preach on the internet during the Sabbath then I can respect that as I see you standing for a principle.

Chris

Brian and Dan, I did not realize that this subject was so contentious between you two as I do not read all of the posts on the Jesus thread where I believe that this discussion started.
Of course, if you Brian believe that by posting on Sunday that you would cause someone else to sin, or if you consider this work rather than evangelizing, then it is a sin for you.
Dan and I have no qualms about posting on a Sunday as it was nowhere required under the Covenant of Grace to us Christians. Now, we both know that the Jewish religion still very much follows the works doctrine and they rest on a Saturday, which was the Lord's Day for the Hebrews.
Sunday is a day that is no different to me than any other day as I dedicate all days to the Lord.

"20Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, 21(Touch not; taste not; handle not; 22Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? 23Which things have indeed a show of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh. Col. 2:

We are different in some ways, Brian. But I hope that we can agree to disagree without pronouncing each other a sinner.

God Bless,
James
