Jim -
Your position is ridiculous and insincere!<G>
I'm just reporting what I found when I went out on the MSFT web site to see what you were talking about. How do you reconcile your statement about 8 days of Win2k workstation shipments with the fact that there are NO WORKSTATIONS FROM DELL ON THE LIST???

Sure MD is going to get up on the podium with Capellas and Gates and sing the praises of W2K while admitting that his company is not prepared to ship.

No I don't think that - but what do YOU think he will talk about? More importantly, why does DELL have so few certified configurations and no link to any Win2K stuff on the MSFT site? Why is there no Windows 2000 pitch on the DELL web site?

It may not have been updated for a while or it may be updated tomorrow so why build up such a BS position?

It was just updated this morning... you can check the age of the page yourself. Why don't you try for a rational explanation which ties your statement about sales of Windows 2000 DELL workstations to the fact that there are no such certified configurations? How do you expect purchasers to make buying decisions, if not from the information available to DELL? If those configurations are not certified today, why would a buyer chose the DELL product in preference to a Win2K certified workstation from CPQ or IBM?

Come on Jim, do a little work here, I'm just pointing to information available on the DELL and MSFT sites and asking the obvious question in response to your post.
