I put someone on Ignore a while back. Then I read this FAQ from SI:

Should I Ignore Someone?

Silicon Investor thrives on the basis of its varied opinions and spirited debates. Intelligent discussion can rarely take place if a particular viewpoint is repeatedly disregarded. This is particularly important on SI, where opposing viewpoints contribute to more informed investment decisions. However, based on customer feedback, we recognize that there are certain situations when it is in a member's best interest to disregard another member of the community. Ultimately, the decision is yours, and the decision to ignore another member should be given its due consideration. If you do decide to ignore a member within the SI community, this should not be made public or used to influence public conversation.

I like informed opposing viewpoints so I took the person off ignore even though she is insufferable.
