X,

Saw Mansfield Park last night with the family. Have a few questions:

1) Were Fanny and Edmund first cousins?

2) Was Mary Crawford a lesbian?

3) Was illness did Thomas have?

4) Did the movie fairly represent the book? Did it leave out any major plots etc...

5) Would the book be ok for a 12 year old girl to read?

It was obvious that the many subplots could not be covered in a 2 hour movie. Definetly a chic flick.
