Lynn,

You might say that one of my decisions is to use some portions of this Thread as research data.

Touche. (You'll have to use your imagination to add the little accent over the "e." :)

On the other hand, ...

As the person who brought the importance of Qualcomm's deal with Ericsson to this thread, I hope it won't go unnoticed when I say that our wildly successful investments in Qualcomm (so far) is mostly attributable to luck. I won't go into the details at this hour, but many of the wonderful fundamental changes in the company and our awareness of their importance could easily have taken years instead of months to develop.

We were lucky.

Well said, Lynn. I have long contended that the key skill to successful use of SI is figuring out which posters know what they're talking about. Of course that means you didn't really need to ask for suggestions, since our holdings and leanings are on public record; all you needed to do was read a few weeks of posts.

I read your profile and by our standards you are a youngster with an enviably long investment window. You can afford to take your time and do it right, niece <vbg>.

uf

btw, Mike likes people that argue with him <gg>.
