As opposed to TWE's option service where the symbol lookup table is horribly incomplete and is missing major companies like Apple (at least is was last week) and the quote server doesn't recognize half of the active options available, including ones you have in your account!

I'm actually in the process of trying to find a new broker to do option trades with. Has anyone had any experiences with E-trade Canada or could recommend another Canadian on-line broker with good option quotes, chains and execution?

(Who sold the last of his TWE for tax losses in Dec. :-( )

Hi Hutch, Sometimes it's the trading method that looses money more than the execution method. I'm sure there are brokerages that do a great job at certain things and others that excel in yet other areas.

I've not had a problem with TWE in a long time. Again, I use their GT-60 day Limit orders so it's pretty hard for them to mess up! My methods and theirs seem to be compatable. I just have to remember to wake up once every two months and renew the orders if they haven't filled! :-)

I, too, am an owner of TWE shares. I was expecting some form of New Year rally after the tax selling of 1999 was done, but so far it's been pretty quiet.

Best regards, Tom
