VRTS is one of the companies in PROJECT HUNT. Tom Cunningham is it's project leader. Looks like we'll have some good discussions of this one when we hear from Tom.

Welcome to the thread, glad you're with us. If you'd like to participate in HUNT, go back to my post #15465 and pick one.

My final question had to do with if VRTS has any inroads in the NAS sector or is it all SAN right now? Who controls the backup software for NAS? NTAP?

In NTAP's NAS world, the backup solution partners are numerous, including VRTS. The NDMP standard provides the open standard with allows companies like VRTS and LGTO to support NTAP's NAS architecture.
