I was thinking off doing a small trade if HP announcement came through but it hasn't come and I don't see my self doing any hedging or selling before earnings. AMD is now by far the largest stock in my portfolio. I am very long and may add some more .... Chuck

It looks like they started selling systems prior to any announcement - just like the K6-500s that were spotted by Pravin before HP's actual announcement. Now the question for those of us playing the game: Do the Street money men already know? They probably don't shop at Sam's. It's possible, but I doubt it. Last time when we revealed Athlon reference material on the Gateway web site, I thought it was picked up by the street. I was talking about stock in my previous response. When I was talking about AMD being the number #1 in my portfolio, I was talking about stock. So, I guess my revised answer is I don't see any reason to hedge my AMD stock position. Chuck
