Thanks for posting the Intel depreciation schedule for goodwill. The 2-6 year schedule looks extremely conservative to me, since the standard accounting rules allow 30 years. Next year it will be reduced to 15 years, and that is why merger activity is feverish - to get in before the more conservative rules go into effect.

Can you find what the AMD schedule was. I am not a subscriber to EDGAR.
