BryanB: I am glad you folks finally put it down in writing. But you left out one caveat...if enough people are guilty of offenses in an on going exchange, no one gets punished, they just get warned. This is not really fair to the lone offender, but convenient for SI Admin. A rule of thumb for offenders should be "if you going to break the terms of use, make sure you do it in conjunction with a group of offenders in an on going exchange".

I guess not much different than the real world, though.

Regards,
LG

Bryan, re:the last mass mailing(and thanks for waiting until after 5 p.m.)

One question for those that don't leave SI and for my curiousity.

Old SI Shutdown
Speaking of shutting down the old SI...Yes, I know that it's a sore subject for some of you, so I'll get right to the point. We are finalizing a few remaining details, and we expect to completely shut down the old SI site during the week of Feb. 7. When we shut the old site down, any message board pages that you have bookmarked in your browser should pass through directly to the new site. And, we will try to ensure that as many other bookmarks as possible have a pass-through destination as well.

Is there a limit to the number of threads a member can have BookMarked?

Thanks.

BryanB,

Even though prior requests for clarification of terms of use have gone ignored when this particular person is involved, I will still attempt to get a direct answer from you.....assuming you have the time.

Why is it that this poster can say these things, about these people, whom I respect in their positions, and not get even the slightest penalty from SI?

Lotsa people want to know the answer and lotsa people suspect......it's being ignored for a reason.....enlighten us......

Shootie

We recently sent the following PM to all members indicating that we have published
an SI Terms of Use Guidelines (see below for the link). AugustWest sent me a note
indicating that the PM appeared in his inbox, but then disappeared.

Are you speaking of that useless message or about PM's disappearing????

If it's PM's dissappearing, well yea, I already complained about it buddy and got not 1 single reponse from SI about it.

I had a bunch of PM's I was saving from months, maybe years ago, and one morning POOOF!! all gone

And have you fixed the public messages disappearing trick yet?

Now try an pull a rabbit out of a hat

The new DSP/DRIP feature seems like a money-maker for GNET. How much / percent of the funds raised does GNET get?

I wonder why you're using another wrapper for it. It seems awkward to not be able to just enter another symbol when you get the mol typical "Your search yielded no results" - I'd like a box like the box for entering quotes, and an easier way to get back to the quotes I was just on. If I click Quotes, that's nowhere. Backspace is the best way out the way it is configured now. Keeping the new wrapper would be best so I could click wherever I want to go next, or just Backspace to get back to the quotes I was on.

If this is called Netstock Direct, why does that name not appear on the screen?
