Was looking at the analyst estimates for earnings during the just-ended quarter for some of the EnP's. God, are those morons clueless!! They can't even do basic math. Why is such incompetence tolerated by the research firms (this one's a serious question!)?? edit: Jim, your response in the next post makes sense for quarters going forward, but it's EASY to figure EPS to within about 10% for most companies for the just ended quarter. I did it quite successfully for my holdings for the fall quarter, without the benefit of insider information.
