It sure is good to know that an insider has as much problem sorting out the competitors' share of the various market segments as does a carpetologist.

... so it is possible that Remedy is taking over the help desk arena. But I think not ...

Lacking the detailed information that was more abundant two years ago, I was also wondering if Remedy was no longer the dominant player in the help desk market. Then Aberdeen released their press release in November, 1999, citing that "Remedy is again the clear leader in the $550 million Help Desk market, more than doubling the market share of the nearest competitor."
