Sonny, re: He implied that AOL/TWX is not getting their place in the sun and thinks the stock price is undervalued.

I have said, and I still believe, that management was surprised at the stock's downturn since the merger announcement. But, is it a fact that a combined growth rate of 30% is better than that of CSCO and MSFT? I'm not certain about that.

Tec.

Dear Sonny: I never have much faith in anything a CNBC reporter says. I strongly advise you listen ONLY to the people they interview and even then remember its possible to find anyone to talk about anything and take any view you want aired. So you must use judgement in listening even to the guests. Personally, the only people that I pay much attention to are the Company representatives themselves (CEO OR CFO's) and widely known fund managers or analysts.
AS to the AOL/TWX merger, I personally have no problem with a 30%+ growth on the COMBINED entity especially when such growth is forecasted to last for MANY YEARS. Remember this growth will be calculated on a much larger BASE. JDN
