IONA Technologies Announces Record Revenues
WALTHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 20, 2000--IONA© Technologies (NASDAQ:IONA - news), a leading provider of e-business development and deployment solutions, today announced record revenues of $33.2 million for the fourth quarter of 1999, compared with $26.5 million in the corresponding period in 1998, an increase of 32%. The company reported net income of $3.8 million, or $0.17 per share in the fourth quarter of 1999. This compares to net income of $4.8 million, or $0.23 per share, in the corresponding period in 1998.

Suisse, AT&T and Portal Software.

-- Announced Beta releases of Orbix 2000 and IONA iPortal
Application Server.

-- Held its first European users conference, IONA World Europe in
Dublin, Ireland.

-- Launched the IONA BeanMarket partner program.

-- Launched its IONA Solution Providers program for system
integrators.

-- Announced support for the JAVA 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition
(J2EE).

-- Announced support for Internet-standard Wireless Application
Protocol (WAP).

-- Received an investment from Intel 64 Fund.
