Well, my limit sell order at $50 will not go through today. I guess I might hang out for another quarter or so. My holding in AMD has not changed since I bought at 22 early in 1999.

I was afraid that we might have flat to down day today. We might get just that. I was not very impressed with the earnings and was a bit surprised with the after hour trading.

Considering GTW is pushing the Athlon hard and Compaq and IBM continue to have it as their main high end consumer computer EPS in Q1 could be north of $0.60. If AMD can keep the yield high, they can make a bunch money on the Athlon even if ASP drops to $180.00. I do not think it will drop that low till the cheaper version comes out toward the end of Q2.

I do not really get the flat to down guidance for next quarter. Flash and communication up sequentially, unit slightly down and ASP higher. AMD probably is trying to set itself up for another blowout quarter in q1. I have decided to wait till then and then make a decision about my AMD holding.
