It seems clear that with expanding bandwidth, storage is a must buy/hold for the next few years(3-10). The more I read about this area, the more convinced I become that NTAP & EMC are at this time the definitive players in this field and all others are footnotes. Starting to feel that I must be missing something when I become so confident! Anyone see any threats to EMC and NTAP dominating their respective markets. I do perceive EMC as not yielding the NAS market gracefully, but am I missing something in my perception that these two companies are so far ahead of the rest in the San and Nas areas, respectively! Not adverse to consolidation of my positions, but equally comfortable with hedging when appropriate.
