This from a long time lurker. Art Samberg of Pequot Capital Management talks in this week's Barron's of a new killer app which is WAP (wireless application protocol). He states that a few private companies are working on this, alluding that if any of these become IPO's he would jump in with both feet. Question I have for you or anyone is about Stanford. Is it possible that Stanford has been working on WAP or that NN may buy a WAP company to complement Stanford's product line? I would greatly appreciate a discussion of this. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable than me could do some research into this WAP opportunity. Thanks and best regards to the thread which I have followed for a long time being a long time long (weep!!). By the way our deserter Pat Mudge is on the MRVC thread now. She used to contribute some good info.
