Mtnlady:

GBLX's Global Center(s) versus EXDS?

Looked at them a few months ago for general impressions. GBLX inherited the Global Centers from Frontier. I think they're classy and focused but still a tier below EXDS and a couple of tiers above Intel/Qwest's efforts. Lots of space for both at the moment. As I recall, EXDS leases bandwidth from both GBLX and QWST.

With GBLX's coming dominance (?) of the fiber optic pipelines

Ummm, I don't see GBLX dominating long-haul bandwidth except maybe for the ocean routes. Qwest is stronger on land, and Level 3 looks like a future winner according to Gilder. GBLX and QWST own the new tollroads, and are both extremely busy building the Burger Kings and gas stations and souvenier stands along those roads. Global Centers is just one of the sideline businesses.

I think that you've got GBLX model pretty well.

Robert Sheldon has done a lot of research into the Global Center(s) on the GBLX thread. Here's an example: www2.techstocks.com

If you look at some his other posts you will find more info. Some research into venture capital investments has also been informative.

EXDS is ahead now, but GBLX is on the prowl. Are you also aware that the intention is to spin-off the Global Centers via an IPO with Hendry at the helm?
