Bill T: How does the old Wall Street saying go - when they close down a house of il-rapute, even the piano player goes to jail" Something to think about while the going is so good.

Pete... then wouldn't they also take UTEK?

He said to hold that one. Unlike the ones Bill holds, that one DID go down after the sell signal, btw... Something to think about.

I think the "house of ill repute" is in the insane valuations of the stocks that comprise the averages of the S&P. Almost 10 years of everyone blindly investing in "the averages" has driven "the average" up to unrealistic values. I'm sure the semi-equips will drop some if the indices tumble, but they will drop FAR less because they are really not so overvalued (especially given that we are just at the beginning of a major upgrade cycle) compared to the KO's, etc of the world. JMHO but we are finally seeing the results of all the index fund investing over the past several years. I agree with Bob that "the averages" ARE overvalued and a correction in the component stocks will be very healthy...I just don't choose to play the index game.
