To ALL - I challenge you to post your buys and sells within a couple minutes including the price and show us how good you really are. I could tell you how I sent Tim info on FFIV and USIX days ago, but what good would that do you now? Anyone can throw out 10 stocks a day then later pick the ones that panned out and brag as though they owned it.

If you want this thread to be about stocks then accept my challenge.

Here is an example of what I'm talking about (you know, practicing what I preach).

Not baaaad for one of the bleeting sheep!

P.S. SIII continued to run up to $18 and has had a little pull back and has tremendous upside potential.

The options hit a high of $5 so I could have made much more (up to 10x).

If I had held the stock, I would have had a good percentage gain too but still not as much as the 4x that I made from the options. Of course the option had much higher risk.

I doubt that I will be watching this thread during market hours (guess where I'll be sharing my ideas) but I will check in the evenings to see if the traders here are half as good as they claim. If you are, you will have no trouble keeping this thread alive.

Tim, thanks for the invitation to your new site...

That is a generous thought. I will pass on it for now, as I pretty much have my own groove which is working really well for me at present. I sincerely wish you and the others the best of luck on the new site.

I never take SI posts very seriously, or lose any sleep over them. As I'm sure is true of everyone else, I sometimes make posts, and then wish later I said it somewhat differently, or maybe not at all. I think when we post publicly, we know we are on a stage, and sometimes we do a little play-acting, looking forward to the reaction of our audience. It's all pretty harmless as long as we don't take it to heart. As far as I am concerned, there is no reason for any animosity between us.

Regards,

J.C.

Tim, the market is NOT overbought. Some stock are overbought and some are oversold. You cannot make generalized statements about the entire market... that's like saying, "go 100% cash"... this is about picking the right stock at the right time. Some will go up and we need to shared ideas about those that will. CS is one of them I think.

For what it's worth, I think the financials are oversold and internet retailers are oversold. I think telecoms are in a period of consolidation and can go way up from here. In my opinion, mainstream retailers are dead money and speciality stores, except Tommy Hilfinger, are a good bet. I think telecome equipment sellers, bandwidth providers, cable companies and CDMA technology still has a long way to go.

Let's talk about specific stocks and not about the whole market..... such generalizations are never accurate.

Well, well, well. Thanks very much for the
invitation.....That's thoughtful. I'm a
little busy in other markets this month, so
equities are kind of falling off to the side
right now (could be a blessing in disguise).
But I know how to find you, so no worries.
Keep in touch and let me know how the site
works out. I'll keep the invite in mind for
future reference.

Regards,
Bryan
