What sort of logic is THAT?

Does it also apply to Microsoft advertising?

Ed, Sunw's ADs is it can compete with Win2k, well, that is good news. If Sunw insists it can compete with Win2k in public,
then , it indicate it really can not compete !!!

It wasn't Sun advertisements that said Sun would compete with W2K. It was analysts saying W2K would compete with Solaris. Big difference. The point I was trying to make is that Microsoft is spreading the word that they have a competitive OS vs. Solaris now, that it has scalability, etc. Sun has been chest thumping that they have THE solution. We'll see how much W2K gets adapted in critical applications, or wins over Solaris. Only time will tell.
