Hi Tom & Steve,

I like to have some of my portfolio in several sectors that I think have long term efficacy. At present I don't have any "retail" stocks in my account and feel this is a shortcoming of the portfolio.

I agree with this and am also on the hunt. Just wanted to post my prime candidates.

BBBY Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. Friday close $28
52 wk low $25.50 vrs high of $39.375
Beta = 1.55 and 5yr growth estimate 25.8%
Making money and building new stores. Looks like a seasonal low and will most probably pick up with Spring Linen season.
Charts looks AIMable to me.

ANN Ann Taylor Stores Inc. Friday close $23.813
52 wk low $21 vrs high of $53.063
Beta = .69 and 5yr growth estimate 19.5%
Major sell off Jan 6th raises caution flag. Same store sales were a disappointment on the street. Growth potential is unclear. Chart does not appear to be AIMable in past but maybe the future brings volatility?

My 2 cents FWIW.
