GIV-V ... week 2 in your chart Allan is a good example of a stock that was churning. They attracted attention to the stock by buying it up and selling for a 0.05 profit but they sold almost twice as much as they bought. This kind of trading doesn't allow much room for doubles and triples when we trade them ... well at least not in the amount of time that other stocks would.

If this volume was in a stock that wasn't being churned we would have made a killing on it. Most of us did well anyway but were disappointed that all that volume and the stock didn't even double for us in the few days we owned it. Of course if we had known they were going to pump up the volume that week we could have bought it close to the low and increased our profits or traded it over and over instead of holding for the big one. But how the hell can we know what week they are going to do what stock? Maybe we can look at the stocks that have this pattern and come up with a formula that tells us when a stock is about to have alot of volume pumped through it. We can probably do this by analyzing the CC stocks.

Anybody have any other ideas?

Lola:)

EDIT: Also of course CC being CC they will mess with the market depth in order to maximize their profits so we have to consider that as well and have a formula for trading in and out of the stock quickly and with as much profit as possible. By the way, the all or none orders now DO show up in th market depth so we can't use that weapon against them anymore but they still have the advantage over us in terms of faster executions.
