I don't think the planting of evidence (if it happened) was intended to exterminate a group of people. The only reason I'm happy to see Furman vindicated is because the Media despised and reviled him so much, it must really grate them that he is doing well now. I figure he must have some redeeming qualities. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, so to speak.
