Milo,

if the HP/iNtEL deal on Merced/McKinley falls apart like the DEC/iNtEL deal done, wouldn't that be something?

I would think HP picking up Athlons might affect iNtEL's attitude,
would it not?

AMD getting Dirk Meyer and assembling the K7 team, that is worth a lot, now and in the future.

Re: "If you are so sure of your info Elmer at what point did you intend to Short AMD?"

I didn't intend to short AMD. It's just not my investment style and I don't see it as a smart move at this point anyway.

Re: "Can you provide any Links from INTC backing up this statement of yours please"Intel stated all along they had no need to go to copper before the .13u process"... I for one would like to read the PR."

Sure, be glad to.

"Intel sticks with aluminum at 0.18 microns"

"At some time in the future-perhaps at 0.13 micron, certainly at 0.1 micron-we will switch to copper,"

"Copper is a more expensive technology, and the benefits at 0.18-micron line widths are not compelling, Bohr said. "
