steve - <Your opinion is the Intel press releases or statements made in the conference calls. How can your experience and knowledge be an asset when you cannot deviate form the party line? I am not limited on the contributions of facts, good or bad, I can make to the thread.>

I actually have deviated from what might be considered "the party line" from time to time. Here's one for you, I don't know why Intel didn't have a PC133 plan in place. It has one now, which is good, IMHO. However, I am far removed from this aspect of Intel's business, and have absolutely no idea how the events that led up to the RAMBUS-only strategy took place. I still personally believe the original strategy was a mistake. This is MY OPINION STEVE.

But you are correct, most of the time, I concur with Intel's stance. And one reason I am here is to combat all the FUD that appears on the thread vs. what intel's respective positions really are.

If it's your job to dig up little bits of dirt that may be half baked truths or utter out-right lies, a la The Register style of reporting, it is my "job" to at least attempt to set the record straight, when I can.
