- oh yeah, Toys R Us's book value, or better yet liquidation value, is closer to $15 to $20/share - which is far & away a great value for a stock selling at 10 5/8

- from Edgar's last 10Q:

"During the first nine months of 1999, the company repurchased approximately 10.6
million shares of its common stock through its share repurchase program for
approximately $179 million. The company has $151 million remaining in its $1
billion share repurchase program announced in January 1998."

- seeing how Toys R Us only has 240 mill or shares; if they keep buying back at this torrid price at these depressed prices; and with their profits they can; then the stock will be back up over $40 in 1 year
