Everyone should at least obtain a small understanding of TA!

I have only been investing for five years but have spent many hours per day understanding TA. It is NO coincidence that when a stock chart looks perfect for an upward move, the stock actually starts to move! TA is different for NASDAQ stocks compared to Canadian stocks. The reason is probably because NASDAQ and NYSE stocks are more liquid than Canadian stocks (NOTE: liquidity is ESSENTIAL for TA!!!!!).

Note that not one TA indicator is important but the summation of all TA indicators. TA is excellent for deciding whether or not to get INTO a stock but really doesn't help for getting out of stocks. Selling is the hardest part and therefore I AM NEVER UPSET WITH A PROFIT!

Finally, I strongly suggest those investors who buy NASDAQ and NYSE stocks to look at PNF charting. A great site is the dorseywright site and is only $25 per month. They provide a list of stocks that show breaking out patterns.
