The Murphy book is excellent, but not an introductory text. The Weinstein book is OK, but I do not consider it a good introduction either. i believe it was first published in 1988. There is no mention of the Internet as a resource, the NASDAQ market, etc., but you can learn about Mansfield Charts though -gg-. I also found out after buying the book that Stan's fund was one of the worst performing funds since 1987, Forbes rated it an F on the bull side and an A on the bear side. Last I looked it underperformed the "monkey throwing a dart" approach.

IMO Thomas, if you interested in a TA primer, then go with "TA Plain & Simple", then Elder's "Trading For A Living".

Cheers. --Allan
