CDMA Tornado

mtnlady,

Excuse me for jumping in an answering a question directed to UpNorth.

DS when do you think the CDMA tornado started and when it ended? I was focusing on the tornado affect versus after the tornado.

I measure the start of the tornado as April 1, 1998. It's still in progress.

CDMA tornado is just underway. The key to QCOM in this tornado is the chasm crossing when the Ericson deal was made early last year (March?).

BUT, the tornado was first identified as the wireless tornado, with a host of contendors. That started a few years ago. QCOM has become the wireless gorilla because of CDMA.
