Whats this? A liars contest Elmer? Just 4 months ago when the athlon was first introduced, amd introduced the 600 and 650 mhz and 1 month later introduced the 700 mhz before Intel introduced the 700 mhz coppermine. Now I realise the 633-b was introduced before the 700 athlon was but the facts that both 650 and 700 athlon were introduced before 700 mhz coppermine.
Wasn't that enough of a demonstration for you? Think it can't happen again?
Amd has already demoed a 900mhz copper athlon at comdex last Nov. Just because it wasn't shoved up your nose doesn't mean it doesn't exist. In addition Jerry said at cc that copper chips would start limited production 2q-00 and large scale production 3q-00. In addition the register reported last friday that the 850 would be introduced Fe. 14 and 900 mhz athlons would be intrduced shortly thereafter. Jerry also said at cc that 850 and 900 mhz athlons would be introduced shortly. Are you really calling him a liar?
