I've heard that they have quite a time to confirm a fill (3 days?), is that still true?

I mean, an options bookrunner could (or should) hedge his exposure as well...if the shells out an option.

(Also I rarely own outright options, especially long. Too high volatility and time value, and note that in the long run most of the options expire worthless, putting the seller in favor...)
