Re: I don't know what is happening with this thread but its changing quickly I hesitate to intrude...but that is exactly what I see as the "problem" here. There exists on this thread a very strong comradery among a handful of P&F regulars. This makes for a warm and fuzzy hanging out place, it also tends to discourage posts from folks like me, who just don't want to intrude. Of course, I do it anyway as evidenced by my occasional posts. But I only post P&F hard core, a signal here or there that looks especially inviting. My point though, which is not meant to be critical, just an observation, is that this thread like so many others on SI has become as much a social gathering as a P&F think tank. As such, it assumes certain social graces that are not always conducive to encouraging lurkers and newcomers to participate. Again, not being critical, just sharing an observation. A
