Anybody on the thread have thoughts about the valuation of Elan--I know it is not one of the screamers, but it has been suggested to me several times and seems like a reasonable way to diversify out--I've been a little concentrated in gene. and while I generally take profits too early, today is maybe not a bad day to skim some of the froth into a new position. Geeze, the bid and ask sizes on Elan are huge, what the devil is that all about--not used to seeing that sort of money change hands, $28 a fair price today on that--willing to hold a few years. Maybe I ought to go read the Elan thread. Also... Found the BBRS Medical conference interview audio files over the weekend, some folks may not have yet heard them: cnbcdowjones.com Don't think I heard any of my stocks mentioned, but maybe you fellas will hear one of your positions talked about on the tapes.
