our market correction in the high techs today
Do you mean the much anticipated Feb-March correction? I'm wondering if it is safe to get back in big time (once it appears a bottom is reached) or if you see choppy trading throughout the spring?

I've looked at EMC's web site very closely this past week, and what they've accomplished and what they're trying to accomplish is certainly very impressive. A super company.

But, all the projections for earnings growth could still happen as predicted, and their stock at this price isn't a bargain. Which is a drawback for anyone who didn't get in 2 years ago...

This correction could continue -- but I'd almost be a little surprised, because there should still be lots of January distribution money (401k, pension, profit sharing) that hasn't been pumped into the market yet. But maybe the market's just too bloated (NYSE) or too speculative (NASDAQ 100) for more money to do the trick at this moment.

I'm sitting on the sidelines for now, as I usually do when things get strange...
