The co.'s biography of Dorian Reed in 1994 looks mighty
peculiar, if he was in prison during that time:

Mr. Dorian Reed is a principal stockholder and Chairman of the Board of
Directors. Mr. Reed is also the Company's Director of Technology. In 1994 Mr.
Reed was engaged in internet consulting and research, primarily studying
internet market trends for not-for-profit entities.

Oh?

From the docket, I can't tell exactly when he was
imprisoned, but it does seem to include most of 1994.

Here's what the docket says:

12/23/93 365 ORDER as to Dorian Reed granting [359-1] motion to extend
self-surrender date by 60 days; defendant to surrender by
12:00 P.M. 2/21/94; no further extensions will be granted (
Signed by Judge Edward B. Davis on 12/23/93 for Judge
Donald L. Graham) CCAP (sl) [Entry date 01/03/94]

That would make it appear that he started serving his
jail time in late Feb. 1994. I don't know how many months
of the original 16 he served, but if you believe the figure
of 10 months that the company reports, that would put the
end of his imprisonment around the end of 1994. Unless he
had already served significant time before 1994.

Is it possible for somebody in a federal prison to
be "engaged in internet consulting and research"?
