Chuckles - Re: "Guess how AMD is going to get to 1 GHz - a "0.2 volt Juicer - maybe 0.3 volts !"> Sour grapes?"

Absolutely NOT.

You know that AMD was desperate in having to JACK UP the voltage of the AthWIPEY just to get too 800 MHz.

Their process has hit a brick wall - and rather than fine tune their process, they JUICE UP the power supply.

Clearly, AMD is going to make sever compromises to get to 1 GHz.

And POWER CONSUMPTION will go way higher than the 48 watts now burned by the 800 MHz AthWipey.

You should be CONCERNED, Chuckles - AMD's AthWIPEY/Process ain't scaling so good any more.
