Greetings Everyone, I would like to report that the Florida Money Show was a smashing success. The show itself was immensely interesting, and I can attest that a good time was had by all. There's no way I will be able to describe the whole experience in 1 post, so I plan to expound more in the future. Suffice it to say that I strongly encourage everyone who reads this post to join us in Las Vegas in May for the 1st Annual AIM Convention. After only about 5 minutes, Tom, Keith, and myself were getting along like a bunch of old school buddies that knew each other their entire life. These guys are a couple of the friendliest and most interesting people I have ever met. The conversation was non-stop and so interesting, it was obvious we would never get to discuss all the topics at length in the few short days available. As everyone here knows, Tom is held in the highest regard as an AIM expert, but you can't believe how well he articulates the broad concept in person. In my opinion, Tom is on a selfless mission to help educate the investing public on the benefits of AIM, and derives pleasure from helping others. Tom's obviously quite modest, however, I consider him to be one of the most intelligent men I know. Of course, you already knew that... My good friend Keith, I got the honor of meeting for the first time, one-on-one a full night earlier than Tom, Doug, and Stephanie got into town. Keith made me feel comfortable from the moment I shook his hand. We shared quite some interesting conversation that continued the whole time we were there. Amusingly, Keith leads one to believe he's just a good 'ol 'redneck', however, he's not letting on. He is one smart cookie who has the integrity of a Forefather. He's built the American dream from the ground up. Communicating in person is quite extraordinary when you have a group like we did on this occasion. Put simply, I had one hell of a time that I will always remember. I consider Tom and Keith very close friends now and I know my partner Doug and Stephanie share my thoughts. One other thing we all seemed to have in common was our preclusion for the enjoyment of fine food and beverage to enhance the festivities. Needless to say I could barely keep up, but a 20 oz. Starbucks put me right back on track each morning. As a side note, it seems Mr. Veale rises early enough to wake up the roosters every morning, which I must profess is a weakness of mine. The Show itself is another whole chapter, which we can discuss more as plans are made for Vegas. By the way, Keith made sure we set aside the time to focus on the AIM Convention, and I'm pleased to say we have made significant progress. We will start posting more specific details from here on, but the idea is that the AIM'ers will secure a meeting room for the entire day before the Show actually starts, and probably have 2 subsequent morning seminars the following days. We're getting a feel for the number of attendees, which I would ball-park at 25 confirmed core AIM'ers, 50 or more AIMer's who 'lurk', and an undetermined number of actual show attendees who will be interested to sit in on our 'panel of experts'. This is going to be one gathering that you will not want to miss. Of course I realize that a few of you will have to wait for the video. Getting back to this past week, one of the highlights of our meeting was going to Lake Nona Golf Club for dinner the final night. A gourmet meal in a perfect atmosphere were arranged by my partner Doug and his wife. Needless to say I had the Veal... I believe a group photo is forthcoming on the net soon. Just as I previously assumed, the highlight of the whole event was the time spent in the lounges, chatting and sampling the refreshments. Only one chair was broken. It's been a grueling week for me as I don't wear my suit often and it seems like a week was compressed into 3 days. It's probably the fact that I had to shuttle home 10 miles each night, which I didn't find amusing on Thursday, when they were hosting a Model Search at the hotel. Anyway, I can't begin to express in one message how much I enjoyed myself in the company of such all around 'good guys'. I'm thinking a week in Vegas would be the perfect vacation this May. It's getting late, and I'm kind of discouraged about having to turn on the heat on this week, so I better turn in. I'll get to some of the fun stuff later. Best Wishes, Bill
