Re: Wcom & Nextel
In my opinion, NXTL was overvalued when it was at $40, and it is now almost 3x more overvalued. Wcom was wise not to go too high with an offer for what frankly still is a fringe player. NXTL sports a ridiculous multiple considering the amount of debt, the unusual technology, and its market share. Wcom knew the shortcomings and made a reasonable offer.

FON much better fits the overall WCOM strategy. The only question is regulatory, and how much wcom will need to give up in order to get the deal to go through.
