Yes. Those 7 dollar trades by online brokerages are great.

Does anyone have cheap option trades? I'm tired of $29 minimums at E*Trade or even the archaic percentage-of-principle commissions that Schwab charges.

Hi Sonny,

I guess we weren't chanting loud enough!! <GGG> What the heck tomorrow is another day.

I'm glad you liked my Lonngggg post. I just had to put my .02's worth in on that one. And darn it I could blame you for buying WCOM too high couldn't I. <GGG> You know I'm kidding!!! If it goes down 5 more I'll consider buying a little more and dollar cost average it.

You know me, the consumer buyer. If I use it or the company uses it I'll really check it out and get myself some too. We are using WCOM as our VPN (virtual private network) provider for our intranet project. I know how much money WE are sending them each month and besides I have been looking at it for a long time. But I will not switch my long distance from A&TT!! Every time their telemarketers call me we have a horrible connection. <GGG> We are now back to using DELL for our new PC's for my project and also our new installs. I just don't know if I'm comfortable with the company just yet. Maybe I'll hit the boss up and see if I can get one on my desk while their at it. LOL!! Still on the fence with that one.

About LU, You and I are going to have to stop talking about dead money. I think we were both right for a few days. <GGG> Well, I'm glad I could take some of yours off your hands. I'm surprised though, that you sold all of it. I thought maybe you would sell a small portion and keep a little under the mattress. I don't recall if it was on your margin or not, if so I completely understand.

I've been thinking of opening an on-line account too. I would do like you suggested and only trade on ones I felt comfortable holding on to in case they turned on me. Which they usually do seconds after I buy them. <GGG> If you do open one, let us know how you like it. I usually only trade in my ROTH account. Unless like my ORCL, they go so high so fast it's just to irresitable not to lock in the profits. I don't have the time to 'day' trade but I could week or month trade. <GGG>

Now try to cheer Frank up!! He's bummed again. I'm sure our stocks will recover but it will take a bit of time.

Have a good evening!!

Take Care

Ann

P.S. Thinking of missing lurkers, have you talked to John Blackburn lately?? I was just wondering how is was doing.
